Tahoe

When I was growing up, my dad's family owned a vacation house in Tahoe that we would visit at least once a year. Going to the snow was a huge part of my childhood and I loved it. I remember learning to ski as a little kid and snowboarding when I was older. I've always been more of a snow person than a sand person. From where I grew up, Tahoe was about a 5-6 hour drive. Now I live a couple hours closer so a trip to Tahoe is only about three hours. Plus, Belle's best friend Abby's parents own a vacation house in Tahoe too that they graciously let us take advantage of whenever we want. Remember we went over summer with Abby and her mom? And we've gone two other times that I didn't blog about. Anyway, because I love the snow so much, it's important for me while we live here to take our kids to the snow at least once a year. This year Belle is a little young to teach to ski (and I can't ski being pregnant and all), so we decided to just go and play in the snow. Belle had so much fun we practically had to drag her back inside when it got too cold.
